As a native Angelino, Annette Adler seeks to bring the California sunshine to her Folk/Americana music. Her first memories involve making music, which quickly became her passion. Her studies led her to become a classical guitarist, a musical theater performer, a professional wedding/corporate singer and to ultimately land a job with Capitol/EMI Records. Once her sons came along, she continued to keep music in her life by becoming a music educator, a performing musician and an active music booster of her kid's school music programs. While teaching at the elementary school she met two other artist moms and they quickly formed an Americana trio, The Mama Bears. This group inspired Annette to revisit her own music and return to her love of songwriting.

Annette's debut release
Color My World, charted on the FAI folk charts and aired on many distinguished folk DJ programs. "The songs on this album are about the human connections and experiences that make life worth living, " Adler said. Her Folk/Americana songs of relatable truth tell stories drawn from her life as a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and advocate for children through her work with her students.

Her next collection of songs called
Mama Proud, was written for her sons and was released in memory of her mom Marguerite and her mother-in-law, Irene. These tunes come from Adler's own experiences as a parent and from the collective voices of fellow moms whom she calls her "Mom Village." Blending several genres for a Folk/ Americana sound, this album brings together anthems, hootenannies, bluesy ballads, island vibes and inviting sing-a-longs that will speak not only to mothers, but anyone who as navigated the emotional rollercoaster of parenting.

In the spirit of collaboration, Annette launched a YouTube series called
"Annette's Duets." On the show, she interviews local artists and enjoys a chance to make music with gifted musicians. She also co-founded a singer songwriter collective of women artists called "Songbird Nights, LA" and recently joined the Collective Voices Showcase, based in Santa Barbara. One of her favorite collaborations with songwriter Mary Lou Fulton, generated an inviting tune called "Come Along" that was featured on the United Nations's Human Solidarity Day and was a finalist in the Renaissance Artists and Writers Association's "Songs For Social Change" song competition and album compilation.

Annette's gift of memorable melodies and lyrics have earned her recognition from the International Songwriting Competition, The RAWA Artist and Writers Association and music reviewers who say she strikes a rare inroad between Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline and the Indigo Girls, while also meeting crossroads between Loretta Lynn and Joni Mitchell. Fans of Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow and The Chicks will find something to enjoy in her music too.

Annette has put together a collection of new material that she is looking forward to releasing and promoting in 2026! The time is right for songs that fill your heart;
Adler's music does exactly that!
